Adrian George Nicolae was born in Bucharest, Romania. He has lived there up until the 18th of September, 2014, when he decided to move to London. Coincidentally, the Scottish Vote was also on that day. Talk about ruining the mood.
The first time he wrote something was in the 6th grade, for a native language test. The teacher liked it, and that was about it on that test.
Eight years later, on a train trip to Busteni, a city in Romania, he started writing some basic ideas that didn't go anywhere.
One year and a half after that, during a course at university, the teacher asked them to write a fairy tale. He did just that, and killed the main character in the story. That was November 2011. But six months prior, he wrote a letter to a girl trying to convey an apology of some sort. It was bad. He didn't give it to her, yet he enjoyed the writing process.
November was also the month he started writing in English, and except for one story in Romanian, everything from then on was in this particular language. One day, he will try French or Japanese, if he decides to go past the basic understanding of those two.
He is also the creator of an online magazine, Dialogual, where he publishes dialogue-only stories.
Adrian N. George is a figment of the former's mind.
He appeared once the move to London happened. The name might never go away as he grew to like it.
As the figment, he is the face of the man behind the scenes, and he enjoys it.
He is bringing to life his counterpart's creations, in his unique way.
